The EMT Course is structured as an adult education class, welcoming individuals with no prior medical experience to kickstart their EMS career. While designed to be accessible, it requires a commitment to serious learning. Success in the course entails dedicating time outside of class to engage with the material, including reading chapters, completing online assignments, and consistent study. The importance of these efforts becomes apparent during quizzes and tests, where a lack of completion of online work may impact scores. Students must approach the course with dedication and a willingness to invest time in their studies for a rewarding learning experience.

To enroll in CAHSC EMT and AEMT courses, you need a current State ID or Driver's License, as required by the State of NV Commission on Postsecondary Education. Additionally, all students must complete a background check through SchoolCheckUSA. For AEMT courses, a current EMT Certification and a current CPR Certification are also necessary at the time of enrollment. Detailed course requirements can be found in the course descriptions. Once you register, we will provide instructions on completing the background check and submitting the required documents.
